My username is Needlerunner mainly because I come up with many ideas while I am out on a run.

Ravelry gives me the opportunity to share my knitting creations with an amazing community of talented people. My original designs are test knit and tech edited prior to being published.

I have been a freelance designer since 2002. Vogue Knitting, Classic Elite Yarn, Nashua, Misti International, Sheep Shop, Swarovski Crystals, Cascade and Skacel are some of the companies that have commissioned me to design knitwear.

You never know what life is going to throw at you. Knitting has been a consistent form of therapy for me - the rhythm of two needles in your hands combined with gorgeous natural fibers to create something is simplicity, stillness and comforting all at once.

My hope is for you to find your inner peace while creating something beautiful for a loved one (that includes yourself).
