I have been designing and producing hand-knitted sweaters for more than 30 years. My designs have been sold all over the world, as well as my patterns. I am also the author of ”Andean Inspired Knits”.
The ready-to-wear garments are produced in Peru, by a group of knitters who have been working with me for more than 30 years. They have been trained by me in all the most intricate techniques and today they do an outstanding job. I am very proud of them and their work and the way they have improved their standard of living.
Once a year, I take a group of alpaca and fiber art enthusiasts on a tour of adventure to Peru. Together, we explore the fiber industry from its origins in the pre-Columbian era to modern times–an experience not to be missed.
Recently, I have launched a line of yarns bearing my name and can be found in two qualities: LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca and ELATION, 85% pima cotton and 15% baby alpaca, both in fabulous colors.
