I learned to knit from my mother when I was in Girl Guides, many moons ago. However, it didn’t really stick until I was in my (very) late 20s, needing a productive escape from a very stressful city-life. My senses awakened from the immersion of colour and texture, and I haven’t looked back since.

While my patterns are simple, and therefore free so far, I absolutely love to experiment and hope to continue designing well into the future.

Patterns are released under my yarn shop brand, Artisanthropy, which opened online in July 2016 (in celebration of Canada Day, as we are a Canadian shop), opened its first location in downtown Cobourg, Ontario, in May of 2017, and merged with Kniterary in downtown Whitby, Ontario, in December of 2017.
