A super easy pullover for your little one. A simple garter stitch rectangle with unshaped openings for head and arms. The neck and side shaping is formed by the drape of the loosely knit fabric. Uses DK weight yarn on big needles at a very loose gauge of 16 stitches to 4 inches. Shown in a cotton/linen blend, it has cap sleeves, or optional short sleeves. Side seams are sewn.

Sizes- 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 18 (21, 23, 25, 27) ins.
Length- 11 (12, 13½, 14½, 15½) ins.
This sweater stretches about 2 to 3 inches in length when worn.

Materials- dk weight yarn:
For cap sleeve version- approx. 275 (330, 415, 526, 650) yds.
For short sleeve version- 325 (396, 464, 586, 695) yds.
29 inch circular needle size 8 or size required to get the gauge. If you plan on making the short sleeve version, you will also need size 8 double point needles.
Small safety pin.

Gauge- in garter stitch, 16 sts and 16 ridges equal 4 inches. This gauge must be very loose to allow the neckline to drape, the body to cling, and the sweater to stretch in length. Using a thicker or bulkier yarn will result in a very boxy unshaped sweater.
