FINISHED SIZE:
Height - 16 inches ( 40 cm) using 1.5 mm (UK 4 1/2) (US 8) hook and Fingering / 4 ply yarn
Height - 25 inches ( 65 cm) using 3.5 mm hook and DK / 8 ply yarn

MATERIALS AND TOOLS
For the frog
• Steel Hook 1,5 mm (UK 4 1/2) (US 8)
• Any 1-Super Fine type (380 m per 100 gr) green yarn (300 m or 328 yards) and small amount of white for eyes, pink for the mouth and red for the tongue.
Please note: you’ll be using smaller hook than suggested on the yarn label.
• Needle (long).
• Stitch marker.
• Approximately 150 cm (60 inches) long Single core copper PVC electrical wire 3 mm diameter in total (preferably white color to make sure it is not visible behind a stuffing).
Please note: you’ll need aprox. 220 cm (85 inches) of wire if you use DK (200 m per 100 gr) yarn.
• Polyester fiberfill.
• 2 small black beads for eyes.
• Thin medical plaster tape (1,25 cm (0,5 inches)) to secure wire ends (the one you use to cover wound).
• Pliers for cutting and bending wire.
For the Russian hat “Ushanka”
• 20 m (22 yards) of fluffy light blue yarn (or any other color you like)
• Scrap of red yarn to embroider the star
For the French style beret and scarf
• 40 m (44 yards) of blue yarn (or any other color you like)
• 1,5 mm hook (UK 4 1/2) (US 8) or two knitting needles 2 mm (US 0, UK 14)
For the Bicorne
• 10 m (11 yards) of black yarn
• 10 m (11 yards) of yellow or gold yarn. This yarn should be slightly thicker than black yarn (it is very important).
