Materials and tools
For the grey kitten

  • Hook 1.5 mm
  • Grey Kid Mohair - about 100 m (250 m x 25 g).
  • Leftovers of smooth grey yarn (the same tone and weight as mohair) for center of face
  • Leftovers of white mohair for buttocks and tummy decor
  • Leftovers of white smooth yarn for muzzle
  • Leftovers of bright pink smooth yarn for tongue
  • 1 black bead for nose (5-6 mm)
  • 40 cm of fishing line (preferably silicone which is used for beadwork, then the whiskers will be very nice)
  • 30 cm of copper or aluminium wire, 1-1.5 mm diameter
  • Stuffing: hollofiber or padding polyester
  • 40 cm of black wool thread to mark eyes and anus
  • Tapestry needle for tightening
  • Strong thread for tightening (dental floss, monothread, etc.)
  • Few small pebbles to add weight to the body.

Optional

  • Piece of Velcro for brushing
  • Plaster - adhesive-backed fabric tape the one you use to cover wounds (medical tape);
  • Eyeshadow for tinting.
  • Felting needle to attach eyes
  • Small amount of black felt for eyes

For the brown kitten:

  • You will need the same materials for the body as for the grey kitten.
  • Small amount of pink felt for the nose and mouth
  • 2 eyes for toys 14 mm

Finished size:
approx. 10 cm (4 inches) if you used 1.5 mm hook.
