This pattern can be knit in a solid color for the beginning knitter or in the color patterns pictured for the intrepid beginning to advanced knitter. If you have never worked with two colors before, this may just be the perfect project for you to do so. These bags knit up quickly and the results are so satisfying!

This small-ish bag has a retro look. It harkens back to a previous era of feminine, curve - celebrating dresses, fishnet stockings with back seams, platform shoes a la ’40s, and romantic hair styles. Dangling from your wrist, this bag will attract attention wherever you go.

Red & Red (Small) Harlequin Bag

The smallest Pill Box harlequin is pictured here with a sweet velvet ribbon bow handle. We made the velvet ribbon double-sided (included in the pattern are detailed instructions) and then beaded it along the edges. Picture yourself carrying it while you are wearing a black pant-suit or a sassy little black dress to a holiday party or a night at the theater, or simply out and about wearing your most comfortable clothes. It hangs from your arm like a little red jewel.
