Worsted weight yarn, worked 2 strands, (Red Heart Super Saver used in this design)

YARN REQUIREMENTS:
Adult cowl: 500 yards, Adult hat: 200 yards;
5- 12 yrs: cowl: 450 yds; Hat: 180 yards;
12 - 16 yrs: cowl: 480 yds ; Hat: 190 yards.

12 mm straight knitting needles, (knit flat, you may use circular needles.)
