Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Try using a fingering/sock weight yarn and recommended needles to create a very slender scarf; using a chunky/super chunky yarn with needles two or three sizes larger than recommended on the ball band will create a wider scarf with a squishy texture. Yarn requirements will vary but the nice thing about a scarf is you can knit until you run out of yarn! Alpaca or bamboo yarn would also be a great choice.”
