Ability Level - Intermediate. (This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.)

Materials required:
One pair size 2.00 mm knitting needles, 3 x 5 gram ball No 80 crochet cotton or No 70 Tatting thread (approximately 12 grams of thread are required to make one pair of drapes, as detailed in this pattern, plus two tiebacks), 4 small rings for tiebacks – (jewellery findings are ideal and come in different sizes), curtain pole with removable ends, 2 tiny hooks for tiebacks.

Approximate finished sizes:
Curtains – 16 cm wide by 18 cm deep
Tiebacks – 10 cm long by 2 cm deep

Gauge – This is not given, as it is not important to the pattern.

NOTES

  1. The pattern may be enlarged/reduced to fit any window (see pattern.) Remember that if you enlarge the pattern you may require more yarn than stated in this pattern.

  2. Thicker yarn such as No. 40 or No. 60 crochet cotton may be used, but the drapes will be more bulky with less light coming through. 1-ply yarn will be too thick and bulky for this project.
