I designed this hat for my daughter’s new 18” doll! My daughter has a matching hat, and the pattern for that will be listed separately. This hat is made with worsted weight (Category 4) yarn and features a two stripes of a secondary color to give it character.

Top down design. I would describe the pattern as Easy. Stitches include chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and beginning double crochet (directions included for beginning double crochet).

Pattern also calls for use of a Magic Circle. Videos and tutorials are available online for free for this.

Materials Needed:
About 25 yards of worsted weight yarn for the main color.
About 9 yards of worsted weight yarn for the stripe color.
