These socks came to life as a result of my desire to experiment with black and white.
Knitted cuff-down, with a heel flap and adorned with beautifully simple textures and lace.

SIZES
S (M, L). To fit approx. Women’s Small (Women’s Medium, Women’s Large) feet or a foot circumference of 7 (8½ , 9)“ 17.5 (21, 22.5) cm). Shown in size M.

MATERIALS
Yarn: You will need fingering (sock) weight yarn in 2 different colors. The yardage required of each color is approx. 120 (130, 145) yards 110 (130, 150) m in color 1 and 198 (220, 240) yards 180 (200, 220) m in color 2.
I used: for color 1, Shimmer by Skein (75% Merino / 20% Nylon / 5% Stellina; 440 y; 100g) in colorway Crema; and for color 2, Yummy 2-ply by Miss Babs (100% Merino; 400y; 113g) in colorway Lycan.

However, I recommend that you pick 2 skeins that have a more similar yardage per skein than the ones I picked, to avoid possible differences in the fabric density.

Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) dpns or long circular needles for magic loop.
Other notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
34 sts and 42 rounds to 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette St on US 1 (2.25 mm) needles.
