MATERIALS AND TOOLS

✓ Main yarn – I used Angora REAL 40 by Alize (100g/480 m):

  • less than 50 g of white

  • less than 50 g of black

  • less than 50 g of grey Tip: You can use any moderately fluffy yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. See the gauge section. If you need exactly the same yarn visit this shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleOwlsHutRUSSIAN

  • Matching crochet hook. I used 2 mm
    crochet hook.

  • Strong thread of matching colors to sew the pieces together and to needle sculpt the toy.

  • White and blue yarn and crochet hook 1.3 mm to make a hat and a red button (optional).

  • Transparent glue.

  • Stuffing.

  • Tapestry needle.

  • A pair of ready-made eyes – I used 8 mm across (you can use beads or half beads instead).

  • Black polymer clay and varnish to make the nose or a ready-made nose.

  • Brush or Velcro to brush up the toy.

  • Scissors.

  • Any material for tinting (optional) – oil pastels, oil paints, pencils, etc.

  • Single core copper PVC electrical wire – I used wire approximately 100 cm/39.3 inches long 2-2.5 mm in diameter.

  • Fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to work up the wire ends (optional).

  • Fishing line for the whiskers.

  • False eye lashes – I used 8 mm long.

  • A piece of cloth and lace to make the apron and a head band.
