Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2010: “Heather Carlson’s long scarf, in Bergère de France’s ‘Bambou,’ carries a cascading twin-leaf lace pattern bordered by a perimeter of seed stitching.”
“Lace scarf in a seed st and twin-leaf pattern.”
Knitted Measurements: Approximately 5½ x 88”/14 x 223.5cm
Materials:
- 6 1¾oz/50g hanks (each approx 87yd/80m) of Bergère de France Bambou (bamboo) in #242.29 meditation (pale blue)
- One pair size 4 (3.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Gauge:
- 22 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10cm over St st using size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
- 23 sts and 24 rows = 4”/10cm over chart pat using size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
- TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE
