Instructions for a baby boy’s or reborn doll’s short sleeve sweater, shorts, peaked cap and two colour socks. I have knitted the outfit shown in Sirdar Snuggly DK, and Sirdar Snuggly Tiny Tots. When knitted this set will fit a 21-22 inch reborn, 19-20 inch reborn, 17-18 inch reborn or a 15-16” reborn, or babies 3lb through to 3 months.

You will need:

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size
50g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g contrast colour B, 4 buttons, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size
50g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g contrast colour B, 4 buttons, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size
50g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 100g contrast colour B, 4 buttons, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size
100g dk yarn in main colour A, 150g contrast colour B, 4 buttons, 4 stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size
100g dk yarn in main colour A, 150g contrast colour B, 4 buttons, 4 stitch holders, 1pr x 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

This pattern has been designed by myself so it is in UK terminology. It does not follow the usual ‘shop bought’ format. There are 6 printed pages with clear and easy to follow instructions. All my patterns are tested by independent knitters before they are released, so every effort is made so that they come to you error free.
