A Beautiful Bedspread. Hexagon Block in Leaf Pattern
Published in The Queenslander newspaper on 8 October 1910, this quilt is made of six-sided blocks with a raised leaf pattern. Each hexagon is knitted in the round from the outside in.
No gauge is given. The pattern could be knitted in any yarn with appropriate sized needles.
It should also be noted that the abbreviation “N” represents a “k2tog” in modern knitting abbreviations.
