A Checkered Past
This casual yet elegant cowl features a repeating checkerboard pattern… but with an interesting twist. Surprise! There are eyelets hidden in every other square.
The cowl is knit in the round on circular needles to eliminate seaming at the end. The design is reversible and looks equally good on both sides.
One skein of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (215 yards) in the colorway Willow Leaf was used to make the cowl in the photos.
