When I saw Marianated Yarns (gradient yarns), I thought, how fun would it be to make a ruffle that simply goes from light to dark in one color. I added a little lace on the edge so the ruffle wouldn’t curl, then I added some short rows to make the ruffle, and a simple slip stitch in the middle to give it some stability. I love the way the scarf lays; and, the way it twists and turns. It is fun to play with when you are wearing it - changing where the colors go, where it lays flat and where it twists and turns. I’m surprised such a simple scarf is so much fun.
