Pattern written for 5 dpns, rated “Intermediate.” From Knit ‘N Style April 2004:

“Judy Sumner’s denim color socks worked in Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport Yarn combine a twisted pattern ankle and a stockinette stitch foot.”

Note: Ankle pattern is twisted, but there are no twisted stitches; it’s strictly knit, purl, and cables.
