I am so sorry, there is a mistake in the pattern - please, cast on only 50 stitches and everything is fine. I will change the pattern as soon as I am able to do so

The pattern is very easy - only two rows are repeated. It gives a reversible scarf which can be done in yarn of any weight.
Very enjoyable knit!

The idea behind the scarf comes from Betty.

But I changed the way of decreases and increases to get a nicer edging. And I have the beginnning and the end of the scarf symmetrical as well - in Betty’s version you get different beginning and ending of the scarf.
