What am I missing?
Acorn
This slouchy beanie and matching mitts features a textured acorn motif created using a mixture of single cables and moss stitch.
When made in the yarn used for the sample, the hat has around 16cm negative ease for the medium size. If using a different yarn, check how much give your gauge swatch has, as if doesn’t have much horizontal stretch, you may need to make a larger size.
Errata on print version and first couple of PDF copies sold of this pattern state that you should complete rows 1-8 of hat chart. It should say to complete rows 1-17.
Also, chart key mentions “1/1 RC” and “1/1 LC”- this means cable 1 with slipped stitch behind (so it leans right) and cable 1 with slipped stitch in front (so it leans left).
Updated version of PDF pattern has these changes made.
