Are you afraid of knitting cables? Well this pattern doesn’t have any!!!! It’s all familiar stitches for a mock cable look. Even my pattern tester new to knit said ‘that was easy!’ This adorable bonnet has a great texture and lightweight feel. Give it a try!

SUPPLIES:
Knitting Needles:
7 (US) / 4.5 mm Double Pointed Needles (DPN) or Circular Needles for Magic Loop (US 7)
7 (US) / 4.5 mm Straight Needles
Stitch Marker
Yarn needle to weave in ends
Scissors
Ribbon or sheer fabric ties

YARN:
Knit Picks City Tweed DK Plush

YARDAGE:
approx. 57 yards

MEASUREMENTS:
Depth=6 inches, Height = 5 ½ inches
Second bonnet option in listing photos is made with Knit Picks Chroma Avalon. This yarn has a lot of stretch/give, but I recommend going up to needle size 8.

p- purl

k2tog- knit two stitches together

GAUGE:
Not stretched, this is a very stretchy stitch repeat so it will really open up on a baby’s head
