The Adele Hat has an interesting texture developed from only knits and purls, making it an ideal project for beginners as well as more experienced knitters who want an easy and quick project. The Adele hat can be worn pulled back as a slouch hat or up like a beanie/toque. The texture of the hat makes it extra warm for those cold, wintry days.

This hat is knitted in the round using U.S. Size 9 16-inch circular needles and worsted weight yarn. Dpns can be used instead of the circular needles.

Materials:
U.S. Size 9 16-inch circular needles; approximately 170 yards worsted weight yarn

Gauge: 16 stitches x 22 rows = 4 inch x 4 inch gauge.

Measurements: 18 inches circumference – stretchable to 24 inches
Hat height = 9 inches.
