This is our horse hat pattern – we looked and looked for a horse hat pattern we liked and finally wrote our own (we have a lot of horse nuts in the house!) Easily adjustable size-wise, this pattern is appropriate for a beginner. Written for child size with guidelines for modifying for an adult. Knit on 16” circulars in size 7 and 8. You do need very very basic crochet skills for the mane construction - sc is the only stitch you need and it doesn’t even have to be pretty - you don’t see the crochet work in the end. Great stash burner - and sooooo cute. Suitable for a beginner and fast - the demo shown was knit in an evening. For personal use only.
