Named after the folded fans this design evokes, these socks have a pattern that works nicely with a self-striping yarn. The pattern ends in a V on the instep and continues in 1x1 twisted ribbing. The sock is knit from the top down and the pattern includes charts.

Finished Measurements:
S M, L leg length 6 ½ inches as shown, 6 ¼ 7 ½, 8 ¾ inches circumference unstretched, 8 ¼ 9 ½, 10 ¾ inches
circumference moderately stretched. Foot length 9 inches as shown, 5 ¾ 7, 8 ¼ inches circumference
unstretched, 7 ¾ 9, 10 ¼ inches circumference moderately stretched. Shown in size M.

Materials:
• Universal Yarn Bamboo Sock, 50% superwash merino wool, 25% bamboo, 25% nylon, 100 g / 459 yds
per skein, 1 skein. Shown in Color 272 (Lavender Meadow).
• Set of 4 U.S. Size 1 (2.25 mm) double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. Alternatively,
use one or two circular needles in appropriate size as desired.
