Aliyah’s Palace makes a nice baby blanket or crochet a larger blanket for your sofa for added coziness.

Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down

Skill Level:
Confident beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project.

I probably wouldn’t choose this pattern for your very first overlay mosaic project, but could definitely be your second.

The only reason being is because of the counting. The technique is the same as every other overlay mosaic pattern, but it might be hard learning and extra counting for your very first one.
