The name of this Sweater means Autumn in Arabic.
For me, Autumn is a season in which we celebrate our existence as human beings and the existence of the world.
After having enjoyed the flowering of Spring and the enjoyment of Summer, Autumn invites us to reflect and prepare to hibernate.
This poem by Walt Whitman “Songs of myself” invites us to celebrate ourselves and all of existence itself.

I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
I loafe and invite my soul,
I lean and loafe at my ease observing a spear of summer grass.
My tongue, every atom of my blood, form’d from this soil, this air,

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This sweater has a Top-Down construction with a circular yoke.
The yoke is knitted following Scheme 1 and 2 that you will find on pages 12 and 13.
In this pattern I do not indicate when the color change should be made, since for each size you will need a different number of rounds depending on the gradient you want to make.
This method is explained in the Special Techniques section.
This pattern contains written instructions and Scheme 1 of Section Yoke 1st Part, Scheme 2 of Section Yoke 2nd Part and Scheme 3 of Waist Band.
It is presented in 10 different sizes.
The instructions are presented as follows 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10.
The model in the photo is wearing a size 2 (96 cm chest circumference in the finished garment), her body measures 87 cm of chest circumference and is 172 cm tall.

YARNS
For this design I have used skeins of various Fingering yarn weight brands. Each skein is 100 gr / 400 m / 3 ½ oz / 440 yds. 4 colors to achieve the Fade effect.

Composition of Silkyak by El Robledal de la Santa from Spain
60% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk, 20% Yak. 366m / 100gr. As you can see, there are fewer meters in 100 gr due to the weight of the materials..

Total amount for each size: 4 / 4 / 4 / 4 / 6 / 6 / 7 / 7 / 7 / 7 skeins in 4 differents colors distributed as follows
Color 1: 1 skein for all sizes.
Color 2: 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 skeins.
Color 3: 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 skeins.
Color 4: 1 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 skeins.

The total meters or yards for each size can be roughly calculated with the following totals for the entire garment 1200 / 1320 / 1500 / 1620 / 1780 / 1890 / 2060 / 2200 / 2350 / 2500 meters or 1315 / 1450 / 1650 / 1780 / 1950 / 2070 / 2250 / 2400 / 2570 / 2740 yards. You must distribute this total among the 4 colors. You will probably have left over of each color, save it and use it in a basic shawl with the same gradient.

• 40 cm cable for neck and sleeves, If you don’t have this cable available, you can work with the Magic Loop technique and a longer cable.

GAUGE
For the body in reverse Stockinette Stitch: with 3,25 mm and knitting in the round you will obtain a total of 26 ST x 32 Rounds in 4”.
The gauge is blocked.

El nombre de este Sweater significa Otoño en Árabe.
Para mí, el Otoño es una estación en la cual celebramos nuestra existencia como seres y la existencia del mundo.
Después de haber disfrutado de la floración de la Primavera y del disfrute del Verano, el Otoño nos invita a reflexionar y a prepararnos para hibernar.
Este poema de Walt Whitman nos invita a celebrarnos a nosotras mismas y a toda la existencia en sí misma.

Me celebro y me canto a mí mismo.
Y lo que yo diga ahora de mí, lo digo de ti,
porque lo que yo tengo lo tienes tú
y cada átomo de mi cuerpo es tuyo también.
Vago… e invito a vagar a mi alma.
Vago y me tumbo a mi antojo sobre la tierra
para ver cómo crece la hierba del estío.
Mi lengua y cada molécula de mi sangre nacieron aquí,
de esta tierra y de estos vientos.

NOTAS DE CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este Sweater tiene una construcción Top Down (de arriba hacia abajo) con canesú circular.

En este patrón no indico cuándo se debe realizar el cambio de color, ya que para cada talla necesitarás una cantidad de vueltas diferentes según el degradado que quieras realizar. El método FADE viene explicado en la sección Técnicas Especiales.

El patrón viene acompañado de todos los vídeo tutoriales que necesitas para tejerlo sin problemas.

Este patrón contiene instrucciones escritas y Esquema 1 de Sección Canesú 1º Parte, Esquema 2 de Sección Canesú 2º Parte y Esquema 3 de Banda del Cuerpo.

Viene presentado en 10 tallas diferentes. Se recomienda una holgura positiva de entre 10 y 15 cm.

Las instrucciones vienen presentadas de la siguiente manera 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10.

La modelo de la foto viste una talla 2 (96 cm de circunferencia de pecho en la prenda terminada), su cuerpo mide 87 cm de pecho y tiene una altura de 172 cm.

Para este diseño he utilizado ovillos de diversas marcas de Calibre Fingering. Cada ovillo es de 100 gr / 400 m / 3 ½ oz / 440 yds. 4 colores para lograr el efecto Fade o Degradé.

60% Superwash Merino, 20% Seda, 20% Yak. 366m / 100gr. Como puedes ver son menos metros en 100 gr por el peso de los materiales.

Color 1: 1 ovillo para todas las tallas.

El total de metros para cada talla se puede calcular aproximadamente con los siguientes totales para toda la prenda 1200 / 1320 / 1500 / 1620 / 1780 / 1890 / 2060 / 2200 / 2350 / 2500 metros. Deberás distribuir este total entre los 4 colores. Probablemente te sobrará de cada color, guárdalo y úsalo en algún chal básico con el mismo gradiente.

TEJIDO DE MUESTRA
Para el cuerpo en Punto Jersey del Revés: Con una aguja de 3,25 mm y tejido en circular obtendrás en un cuadrado de 10 por 10 cm, 26 P x 32 Vueltas.
Las muestras están bloqueadas.

MEDIDAS FINALES DE LA PRENDA
Circunferencia de pecho en cm: 91 / 93 / 103 / 108 / 113 / 119 / 124 / 130 / 140 / 146 cm.
