The Amara vest is a top-down V-neck drop shoulder vest. The top half of the vest is worked in stockinette stitch and the lower half in reverse half fisherman’s rib stitch. First, stitches are cast on for the back and worked back and forth with German short rows and armhole increases. The two fronts are knit back and forth with increases for the V-neck and armholes. The pieces are then joined together to work in the round. The two sides are split and worked with double knitting on the sides while simultaneously working reverse half fisherman’s rib stitch. The armholes and neckline are finished with 1x1 ribbing.

Sizing:
The recommended ease for the Amara vest is between 15-20 cm / 6-8 inches of positive ease. The measurements are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) 150-160 cm / 29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43½) 43½-47½ (47½-51½) 51½-55 (55-59) 59-63 inches. If your bust circumference is 90 cm (35½ inches), you should knit a size S with a finished bust circumference of 108 cm (42½) inches.
