I am obsessed with marled yarns, so I had to design a hat using the technique. What makes this yarn marled is by holding two strands of SweetGeorgia variegated yarn together. The striping was a total surprise. Depending on where you start the ball, or depending on the size you make, the stripes many or may not emerge; to me, this is magical! Amelia Bedelia Hat is truly a quick knit, and watching the colors marl, stripe or pattern makes this an interesting knit.

This pattern is also included in the 4-pattern Booklet, Hats #2. A PDF & Hardcopy combo can be purchased on thecraftyjackalope.com
