This is a crochet pattern for an amigurumi version of Violet, one of the characters from the Amoebunnies board game.

The pdf includes a pattern for both a mini Violet about 3.5 inches tall when using medium weight yarn, as well as a larger Violet that can scale up from 4.5 to 7.5 inches when using medium to super bulky yarn.

Materials include suggestions for different sizes to reproduce the items pictured, but generally you can follow the hook size suggested for your yarn, or a size smaller -- as long as your stitches are tight enough that stuffing does not show.

Materials:

For mini Violet:

• Medium weight yarn (purple)
• US G-6 / 4.0 mm hook
• 10 mm oval safety eyes
• ~.75 inch (2 cm) cylinder (optional, but 1 or 2 recommended)

For big Violet:

• Medium weight yarn (purple)
• US H-8 / 5.0 mm hook
• 16 mm oval safety eyes
• ~1 1/4 inch (3 cm) cylinder (optional, but 1 or 2 recommended)

For bigger Violet:

• Super bulky weight yarn (purple)
• US K-10.5 / 6.5 mm hook
• 24 mm round safety eyes
• ~2 inch (5 cm) cylinder (optional, but 1 or 2 recommended)

For all:

• Stitch marker (optional but advised)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Polyester stuffing
• 12-gauge wire (black)
• Glass bead stuffing (optional if you want to weight the base to stand better)
• Nylon foot stocking (optional if you want to weight the base to stand better)
• Wooden stuffing stick (optional but advised)
• Wire cutters (optional but advised)
• Pliers (recommended)
