This is a collection of 8 different octopuses octopi, or octopodes. There is much debate on the proper way to pluralize octopus… but there is no argument about how cute these creatures are.

It starts with the basic octopus and works on variations of that theme. Include in this set: the basic pattern, a smaller version, a tiny version, a little creature with an octopus perched on his head, an octomummy, a socktopus, a punkrocktopus, and a spocktopus.

Making any of these little creatures is fun and easy. They also look great sewed on hats.

Gauge is not important and if you want to experiment with other yarn weights just select the appropriate hook size for the yarn you use and experiment away.
