Inspired by wrap-tops, Anaheim is a cross-over front cardigan that buttons at each side with an all-over lace stitch pattern. The cardigan begins with the upper back, which is placed on hold after the armhole shaping. Stitches are picked up from the upper back’s cast-on edge for the fronts. After joining the fronts and back when the underarm stitches are cast on, the body is worked in lace with waist shaping and then finished using an i-cord edging. Stockinette sleeves are picked up from the body and knit down, and sleeve caps are shaped using short rows. Buttons can be placed on each side according to preferred fit at the waist. Choose a size with some negative ease through the bust.
