A cozy warm and generously sized shawl, knitted in the round with a steek. Lovely soft fingering weight yarn in contrasting colours (Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply Superwash in Pewter and Rainy Days - 2 skeins of each colour) knitted in an old Anatolian motif drawn from Turkish socks. The very subtle variegation in the yarn adds extra dimension to the not quite symmetrical motif.

All but the beginning few rows and the last trim rows are knitted in the round, the steek is secured, cut then bound with a knitted trim.

Shawl is 71 inches wingtip to wingtip and 37 inches at the centre back.
