The Angelica Cardigan is a sweet DK weight cardi perfect for all the little ladies in your life. The color possibilities are endless and the vintage-inspired design allows for both traditional and modern color schemes. This is a great pattern for newer lace knitters. The simple 4-row lace pattern will give you lots of practice with SSK’s, K2tog’s, and, of course, Yarn Overs! Even seasoned lace knitters will enjoy the simplicity of this design with lace at the beginning and then some relaxing stockinette to finish it off!

The Angelica Cardigan is worked in five separate pieces (1 back, 2 fronts, 2 sleeves) and then seamed together. The neckline and buttonband stitches are picked up and worked after. To enhance the shape of the sweater, the lace sections on the body are made slightly A-line by simply changing needle sizes after working a few inches. The lace pattern is charted and written out to suit your preference. All-in-all: this is a treat to knit for baby gifts and childrenswear. I hope you enjoy it!
