This blanket makes a lovely throw for an armchair, a baby’s cot blanket, or a pram blanket.
The pattern is cleverly designed to be reversible and looks slightly different but equally good on both sides.
It uses 4mm needles and a cable needle and 7 50g balls of DK yarn. I designed it several years ago using RYC cashcotton yarn. Sadly, this is discontinued, but any yarn with a cashmere or alpaca content will give the same soft effect, although it is best to use a mixed content yarn, ideally with some cotton in, as this will highlight the intricate pattern best. I love this pattern and it has been adapted by customers to make a scarf and a cushion cover, so there is lots of scope here. Hope you enjoy it!
