‘Anna Mae’ is worked sideways using increases and decreases to create a gentle curved shape. The shawl is worked in garter stitch with a wide lace border enhanced by large miracle beads for a touch of glamour.

Anna Mae is exclusive to the Lace Lovers Club until January 2014.

The sample is shown in Araucania Botany Lace but any sock yarn with 400m/440yds per 100gr skein is suitable.

Materials:
100g of 4ply/fingering weight yarn
400m/440yds per 100g
4mm (UK 8/US 6) knitting needles
Stitch marker
35 x size 4mm (6/0) miracle beads (white)
0.75mm (US 13) crochet hook for beading

Tension:
15 sts and 24 rows over 10cm/4in in Lace Pattern after blocking.

Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the amount of yarn used.
