Apiary is a cowl featuring a pattern reminiscent of honeycomb throughout. The name comes from a beekeeping friend of mine. Its companion hat and fingerless mitts are also available.

Finished Size: 26” around, 9” tall

Yarn: Marigoldjen Sock Weight, 80% Superwash Merino/ 20% nylon, 400 yards/100 grams (Sample knit in Spun Honey). Sample used 270 yards.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or 16” circular needles, size 3 US (3.25 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 19 stitches/22 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette, knit in the round. Gauge is not critical with this item, but will affect drape and amount of yarn used.
