Sometimes… having a whole mitten or glove on your hand doesn’t feel comfortable. Sometimes, you just wish your sleeves were a bit longer, and you find yourself tugging at the cuff to pull it down over your hands.

Problem solved! These armsocks are made in a sock gauge for a smooth tight fabric, and have no thumbholes, so you can easily pull them over your hands or push them back up in a flash when they start to get in the way.

Soft and warm, but tough and uncomplicated, the little finishing details make them a stylish option for cooler days.

Tight gauge is a feature of this pattern to give the smooth flexible fabric, so make sure yours is accurate or you won’t get the right fit!

An icord bind off is used to make a nice round edge to the top of the armsock. Instructions are given in the pattern plus a link to a tutorial.

To make smaller or larger, simply add or remove stitches from the cast on, and rows from the row count.

** These make a set with the Nogginsock beanie which uses the same cuff/brim design and same gauge fabric for the body. **

ERRATA (14 Feb 2018)
icord bind off: original pattern has an error in that section. step 5 should read: repeat steps 3 - 4 (not 2 - 4) until only 3 stitches remain.
new PDF is uploaded which corrects this.
