What am I missing?
Around the Twist Log Cabin
I designed this afghan in honor of my uncle, Joel, and in memory of my grandmother, Ruth. 100% of the profits will benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
Yes, crocheters; a version for you is coming :)
This is a variant of the more traditional log cabin afghan. Each square is made individually & is sewn together. It makes for a very portable & easy project, & doesn’t take as long as you might think to put together. It’s a great stash buster; I used mainly worsted weight yarns, & also used fingering weight held double.
Thanks to olive2, nathalierevel, autumngirl84, donnaAlley, purlingkitten, kamah, KnititKim, and nwheatley for their test knitting skills! And many thanks to Susan Moskwa (http://www.rogueedits.com) for her tech editing skills! This pattern would not have been possible without all of you.
Feel free to make as many of these as you like for local craft fairs/auctions/raffles/bazaars, but please
do not sell finished items online. If making for charity, please let me know the name of the charity & include my contact info with the item (http://anastaciaknits.net / anastaciaknits on Ravelry). If you have any questions or comments or just want to join like-minded souls, please join my Ravelry group at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/anastacia-knits-designs. Thanks!
