I designed this afghan in honor of my uncle, Joel, and in memory of my grandmother, Ruth.

100% of the profits will benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Approximately $200 has been raised from pattern sales to date (March 2014). Thank you for your help!

This is a variant of the more traditional log cabin afghan. Each square is made individually & is sewn together. It makes for a very portable & easy project, & doesn’t take as long as you might think to put together. It’s a great stash buster; I used mainly worsted weight yarns, & also used fingering weight held double.

Thanks to olive2, nathalierevel, autumngirl84, donnaAlley, purlingkitten, kamah, KnititKim, and nwheatley for their test knitting skills!

And many thanks to Susan Moskwa (http://www.rogueedits.com) for her tech editing skills! This pattern would not have been possible without all of you.
