With just 9 rounds of color stranding, the Asheboro Hat is a good project to learn two-color knitting and a fun project for experienced knitters. The hat knits up quickly, and comes in three sizes to fit children and adults.

Materials
MC: 140 (150, 160) yds of worsted weight yarn.
CC: 20 yards of worsted weight yarn.
The sample hats were knit using Brooklyn Tweed SHELTER in Woodsmoke, Hayloft and Homemade Jam.
Needles
US 3 (3.25 mm): 16” circular needle
US 5 (3.75 mm): 16” circular needle and a set of DPNs
Change needle sizes if necessary to achieve the correct gauge
Gauge
5.5 sts = 1” (2.5 cm) measured over charted colorwork and Stockinette Stitch
Finished Size
18 (20, 22)” 46, 51, 56 cm to fit Child, Adult Medium, Adult Large. Shown in Child on this page and Adult Medium on p.1.
