This pattern was designed in support of the March for Science 2017.

Available in UK and in US crochet terms.

For baby size follow the pattern as written using sport/light DK weight and a 4mm hook.

For child size follow the pattern as written using sport/light DK weight and a 4.5mm or 5mm hook.

For large adult use aran or bulky/chunky yarn with a 6.5mm hook.

All rights to this pattern remain with the designer, Shirley MacDonald. While pattern may not be sold or given away in any format by third parties you are welcome to sell finished items made from this pattern. I hope you enjoy making and wearing this hat.
