Little lanes are running along this top down knit skirt like highway spaghetti and fan out into organic shapes at the bottom.
Driving fast on the Autobahn in Germany is my secret indulgence, and the contrast I chose for this original design remind me of my upbringing there, hence the title “Autobahn” - highway.
The skirt is knit in the round by alternating two colors in a super easy technique I named “KOBIC”. It looks complicated but it is not. If you can knit, purl, increase and decrease, you can make this skirt!

KOBIC creates a denser and flatter fabric than brioche, closer to a tweed, therefore perfect for a skirt, jacket or cardigan.

The skirt can be knit in two sizes and a shorter length.

And, it can also be worn as a top, like a cape, which I do myself quite often. Have Fun!
