No sleeve island for these babies! This pullover vest has a simple rib pattern and a v-neck with a rolled edge.

This pattern is a redo of an old favorite, the Avery Vest. I’ve updated it use a more commonly available gauge, and to spread out the copy with a bit more detail.

I also remembered why I designed this flat, not in the round. It is worked flat to fit the pattern repeats into small sizes, and because many knitters have gauge problems when switching from working in the round to working in rows.

It’s a very short seam! If you are experienced and want to adapt it for knitting in the round, that’s do-able, of course.

If you purchased the previous version of this, I’m happy to send this one to you. Message me and let me know.
