This woven-like scarf/shawlette is designed for that one skein of sock yarn that just asks to be next to the face. It looks great in self-striping, variegated, semi-solid or solid yarn, and is simple enough to be worn by both men and women.

Gauge for this pattern is not critical. You should use the yarn and the needles that give you the look and drape you like. Note: Linen stitch produces a dense fabric. Consider using much bigger needles than stated on the ball band.
