These cute children’s socks are worked from top down, starting from the cuff and finishing with toes. Knit in rounds, using the Magic Loop method. You can use DPNs (double-pointed needles) if you prefer and adjust the pattern.

This pattern is made in UK English, all measurements in cm (2.5cm = 1in)

Materials:
Yarn: Fingering weight/sock yarn (400-420 m/100 g), approximately:
• 15-20g (for size S)
• 25-30g (for size M)
• 35-40g (for size L)

Needles:
• 2-2.5 mm (US Size 0-2, UK size 12-14) circular needles with min. 80cm cable
• Or DPNs (double pointed needles) if you prefer

Other tools:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch markers to mark the beginning of the round and the heel section (optional)

Gauge:
• 32 sts x 40 rows in 10x10cm (4x4 inch) working in stockinette stitch (adjust needle size if necessary)
