A super simple garter stitch baby blanket with a mitred corner garter stitch border

Easy knitting, all the interest in this design is in the colour changes and the stripe sequence.

The main part of the blanket is worked flat back and forth in rows. For the border, stitches are picked up from each side and the corners stitched together at the end (sewing instructions included for a flat seam on both sides).

Size of finished blanket: Approximately 76 x 91 cm (30 x 36 inches)

Written instructions and a colour chart are provided for the stripe sequence, so you can work from whichever you prefer. Alternatively, customise with your own colours by using the tables provided

Individual yardages for each colour and details of each colour name and number are listed in the pattern.
