An inverted vee in the back of this jacket gives it a slightly retro look as well as a little swing.

This roomy, drop-shoulder swing jacket is adorable and easy to knit.

Simple decreases create the vee in the back and add shape to the drop-shouldered sleeves. All the edging, buttonbands and collar are worked in Seed stitch.

The yarn called for is worsted weight to work up at 4 sts/1” in stockinette (straight) stitch on size 7 needles.

The pattern is for sizes 6, 12, or 18 months (finished chest size: 19”/22”/24”).

The finished model is shown in a bright turquoise and finished with a contrasting red button: feel free to be creative with color and button choices!
