Treasures From The Living Reef In Crochet

At only 8” and weighing around a pound, “Baby” is very much still a baby and not even a juvenille giant clam. Some day baby will grow VERY large and might weigh up to 600 pounds! “Baby”--just look at you now!! Since giant clams can produce both sperm and eggs, Baby’s mantle is Teal Blue (male) but has produced a pink pearl (female). Giant Clams can produce pearls although they are not considered to have commercial value.

Baby is at home with other crochet friends on the reef or wrapped up in a blanket in her own clam bed. Baby can also take a pacifier in pink or blue depending upon his/her whim of the day. Baby has a slightly convex back and can nicely “grab” onto the reef.

Angelsun Crochet Patterns--Made with a Hook, and a Quirk and a dash of Mirth! As with ALL of my patterns, purchasers are encouraged and welcomed to sell finished creations.
