These cute little woolly mammoths are very popular for little ones. If for children under 3 I would recommend crocheting the eyes or embroidering them.

Any yarn thickness and appropriate hook can be used for this pattern. Smaller hooks and thinner yarn make the Mammoth smaller equally larger hooks and thicker arn make it bigger.

1 ball of fur yarn is also required to give the shaggy look.

Standing they measure about 15cms (6”)

I used 20mm yes with clear surrounds and painted the clear part the colour I wanted ut any 20mm eyes ould be perfect. I used felt for the backing to the eyes (optional)
