Bumblebaby is a cute, fun children’s bumblebee hat pattern. It is knitted in the round in worsted weight yarn. It is suitable for beginning knitters wanting to try out knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles.

Materials:
1 skein Cascade 220 Superwash (220 yds/100g, 100% superwash wool) in Yellow (CC)
1 skein Cascade 220 Superwash (220 yds/100g, 100% superwash wool) in Black (MC)
A 4.25 mm/ US 6 16” circular needle and set of 4.25 mm/ US 6 dpns
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Markers

Gauge:
20 sts =4” in stockinette stitch

Finished Hat Circumferences: 12.8”, 14”, 16”, 18”, 19”

Since children’s head sizes vary, the age for hat sizes is approximate. For best fit, measure child’s head circumference, then minus one inch and choose size closest to that value.
Note: Hat uses approximately 1/4 skein of each colour, you may substitute any worsted weight yarn that gives the same gauge. Largest size may use slightly more yarn.
